GENERAL DIRECTIVES

  • • All conversation in the school should be in English since it is the medium of instruction, except for other linguistic studies.

  • • School uniform is compulsory on all class days and for school functions.

  • • Safety of the valuable personal belongings such as gold ornaments, and money is the responsibility of each student. It is advisable not to have excess amount of money with oneself.

  • • The students are expected to be regular and punctual for class and other exercises. Absentees should get their leave notes in the diary signed by the parent.

  • • Students are not expected to bring comics, periodicals and other books from outside to the school.

  • • Mobile phones, digital watches, calcuators, CDs, Ipods, pen drives, tabs or cameras are not allowed at school.

  • • Any exchange of articles or money transaction between students is forbidden.

  • • Students are highly recommended to show genuine respect and love towards teachers and elders.

  • • Students are expected to take great care of the school property. They are not to scribble on the walls or furniture or damage anything. Damages need to be compensated.

  • • In case at the commencement of the class no teacher has arrived, the class leader will see to the discipline and order. If after five minutes, the teacher has not yet arrived the matter should be reported to the Principal.

  • • Strict discipline is to be maintained in the class room and in the corridors and no one should remain in the class room during the recess.

  • • All pupils are expected to take part in the Assembly. Students wishing to be exempted from P.T. and games on medical grounds, should produce a doctor's certificate.

  • • No student will enter into other classrooms without permission.

  • • During class hours the students are not to leave the school campus without permission.

  • • Verbal requests through messengers or students themselves, to allow them to go home before the school gets over, will not be complied with.

  • • The students found guilty of misconduct and who use unfair means, or give or receive assistance in any form during tests / exams will not be allowed to complete that exam.Failure to comply with this might lead to dismissal from the school.

  • • The school does not take any responsibility for the conduct of the pupils outside the campus.

  • • Promotion to higher classes, issue of conduct and other certificates, are matters absolutely within the discretion of the principal.

INSTRUCTION CODES FOR PARENTS

  • 1. Parents play a Vital role in their child's educational journey as their support, encouragement and involvement significantly impact their child's academic success and overall development. Parents are therefore requested to extend their utmost co-operation to the school authorities in helping the children to grow in knowledge and maturity.

  • 2. All students are required to wear the full school uniform whenever they enter the school campus. The uniform is an integral part of our school identity and promotes a sense of unity and equality among students. We believe that our uniform policy promotes a safe, inclusive and focused learning environment for all students.

  • 3. All photographs for attestation must be in school uniform.

  • 4. Parents are requested not to plan holidays or tours during the school days. As regular attendance is an important element for successful schooling, every student must maintain at least 75% attendance and should not be absent from class without a sufficient reason.

  • 5. A student abstaining from classes without proper acknowledgement of leave more than fourteen consecutive working days will have her name removed from the rolls.

  • 6. Students requiring leave even for a day or two must obtain prior permission from the principal by submitting a leave application, duly signed by the parent, stating a valid reason.

  • 7. It is not advisable for parents to take away their wards during class hours. If a parent wants to take his/her child during class hours, prior permission of the principal is required and the same should be intimated through the school diary.

  • 8. Absence from examinations will be considered as a serious breach of school discipline. Pupils who don't appear in any of the terminal examinations for any reason other than sickness will be considered failed for that particular examination.

  • 9. It is mandatory for the students to participate and be present for all the activities and events of the school. Students are expected to avail themselves of opportunities for all the school outing and educational trips.

  • 10. No child will be excused from games and drill unless a medical certificate is produced.

  • 11. Expulsion from the school may result from misconduct reflecting character irregularities, persistent neglect of academic responsibilities, disobedience, insubordinate or disrespectful behavior towards staff members, examination malpractices, immoral behavior and other intentional and serious offences.

  • 12. It is not advisable for students to have too much money in their possession.

  • 13. The school takes serious view of students forming groups or organizing parties and picnics under the school banner without permission.

  • 14. Drug and other prohibited substances is strictly forbidden within the school campus. A drug and tobacco free campus committee is already formed to oversee the implementation of this policy.

  • 15. Any student found with a mobile phone in the school campus will face disciplinary action. Parents are responsible for adhering to the policy and ensuring that student understands its consequences.

  • 16. Transfer certificate will only be issued after the completion of the academic year and not before.

  • 17. Irrespective of the religion, caste, creed or community, no religious or customary offerings or prayers shall be performed in the school campus.

  • 18. The parents and students shall adhere the above codes before taking admission and during the academic term.
